Here is what you will need to do:
Step 1: Decide on group members or the teacher should assign them. There
should be four students per group.
Step 2: Each group should select a city and country to research from the
following list:
Berlin, Germany or
Mexico City, Mexico or
Rome, Italy or
Pretoria, South Africa
The teacher could also put the location names in a jar and have groups
randomly select them. Some groups may end up researching the same city and
country.
Step 3: Group members need to decide on their roles. The four roles are:
Weather Expert, Transportation Planner, Sightseeing and Meal Planner, and
Holiday Investigator.
Step 4: Once everyone has chosen a role, go to your individual role pages
to get further instructions and web pages for your role. Keep notes on all
information you gather in your role because your group will need this to
create their brochure.
Step 5: Once everyone has compiled all of their information, the groups
will meet and make their brochures.
Step 6: Once all groups have completed their brochures, they will present
them to the rest of the class. Presentations can be original and all group
members must be involved.
