Are you ready? You will be working in groups to develop your Survival
Guide. Others are depending on you so make sure you all pull your
weight. Each of you needs to take on a role. You will each need to
complete an activity and share it with your group. The roles are:
1. Plant Expert: You will create an Edible Plant Guide and Recipe Book to
help your fellow campers know what they can eat.
2. Animal Expert: You will create a nonfiction Animal Guide of animals that
live in the Catskills so your campers will be prepared.
3. Camping Expert: You will need to come up with a list of survival items
needed for their trip. You only have $40.00 to spend.

4. Journalist: You will be writing a newspaper article all about your
campers adventure in the Catskills which will be published in
the computer program of your choice. You may include
pictures. Report their most tremendous adventures so others
will know their tales!
