Now that you have returned to the 21st Century, hopefully you have
first of all, acquired a better understanding of the Impressionistic style of
the 19th Century. Secondly, you have a better understanding of the artist you
researched, to have written a powerful and positive critique deserving of that
artists' talent and skills manifested in the various pieces you observed
first-hand. Thirdly, you were able to create an original art work reflective
of the artist and his/her personal style that anyone could say your painting
is indicative of the artist in style and colors. And finally, you expressed
aptly your own personal insights regarding the process, the challenges
encountered, how the Art Elements and Principles of Design fashioned the
process, and whether the work of art was a successful endeavor.
With all these things considered, you can now call yourself an
accomplished Impressionistic artist and ready to display your work of art in a
school wide exhibit!
