Comparing the Holocaust

Jewish people are not the only people who have experienced bias on the basis of race. Several other 
groups have also been discriminated against, enslaved or even killed in the name of race. Pick one of 
the following groups: 

- The Japanese (during WWII)
- Native Americans
- African Americans during slavery
- Rwandans during the mass genocide
- India under British rule, or 
- The present treatment of Arab Americans.

Using your Venn Diagram (from the teacher or attachment 1), compare and contrast this group to the 
Jews during the Holocaust. Use your research from last class on the Holocaust to provide a starting 
point and use the links below to research the other group of your choice. You and your group will 
present your findings to the class.
