1. Students will select a group of 3 members exactly. If you cannot decide
your group members, I will help you. Each student will then be assigned one
of three roles. The assigned roles are the Artist/Band, Record Company
Executive, or Music Fan.
2. Together you will follow the links to learn about both legal and illegal
methods of downloading music.
3. Once you have done you research, you will work individually on your
assigned roles. Use the links to find information about your assigned
role. You will write down 5 ways that illegal music downloading affects
your role and another 5 ways that legal downloading affects your role.
These can be positive and negative.
4. Your group will now meet to discuss how each role is affected by illegal
and legal music downloads.
5. Each group must decide which role is most affected by Illegal music
downloading. The group will tell us if it is being affected positively or
negatively.
6. Each group will present to the class which role they have decided is
affected most by Illegal downloading of music.
