Your job as the Speech Teacher is to create lists of all the different
sounds, then create a word search as a fun activity for your students to
do at the end of the therapy session or as homework.
1. Your Speech Teacher will designate which sound you will do for this
project. It will most likely be the sound you are working on in Speech
class.
2. Using the WebQuest, you will print out the worksheets for your sound
and fill them up with words you have found on the various Web Sites.
3. You will then create a word search using the words you found by
doing the following: You will make three word searches - one for each
position of the sound (ex: one word search for words with the sound in
the beginning of words, one for words with the sound in the middle of
words, and a third word search for words with the sound at the end of
words).
4. You will then turn your lists and word searches in to the Speech
Teacher and she will in turn use them for your Speech Therapy session.
