TTW create/preview a holiday cultures website that will allow students to
investigate the holiday cultures of Mexico, Germany, France, and England.
TTW divide the students into four investigative teams- Germany, Mexico,
England, and France.
Using the Internet, the TLW access the holiday web quest and read the
introduction (set).
TLW read the tasks that have been assigned to his/her team.
Each group will use the Internet to research pertinent information to their
country.
TLW record research in a teacher-created holiday cultures journal.
TLW design a poster to present research findings.
TLW present student-created poster to the class.
TTW take pictures during presentations to add to website photo gallery.
Using computer generated rubrics, TTW evaluate student web quest use and
research retrieval and group presentations.
TLW reflect on the holiday cultures web quest, observations, and
presentations in his/her journal.
