Description
Your group will do a presentation on the Sacrament of Confirmation. The
research will include online and written sources (primary and secondary) and
two interviews. You must interview (by e-mail, phone, or video conference)
two (2) people who have been confirmed in the Catholic Church, asking them
the following:
a. parish where they were confirmed
b. experience of confirmation classes
c. experiences of Confirmation Mass
d. changes in faith life since Confirmation
You will be turning in your interview questions with your report. In the
bibliography you must site the dates, times, and names of the people
interviewed.
Your presentation must include the following:
- the history and theology of the sacrament of Confirmation, including
the role of the sponsor
- an overview of confirmation preparation (you can get this information
from any parish office)
- an overview of the Confirmation rituals and symbols
- results of the interviews
