Task

You and your friends are going to a production of Romeo and Juliet.
You enter the back of the theater and approach the doors with your tickets to
show to the person standing there. You are handed a booklet and then
ushered to your seats. Before the play begins, you have time to take a look
at the booklet that was placed in your hands. At the top it says the word
"Playbill." Inside, you find information about the play, the cast, the
director, and the rules of the theater. Several articles and advertisements
are also in the Playbill. You are thankful that you have the background
information and that you can enjoy the play now that you know something about
the scenes and settings.

You and your classmates will design and create a Playbill for Romeo and
Juliet which includes researched information on Shakespeare, Elizabethan
culture, and The Globe Theater. Click on "Process" at the top of the page
for step-by-step instructions.
