You will need to write a brief overview of the history of the Globe Theater and discover some of the rules of the theater back then. You will also need to know some good information about The Lord Chamberlains Men. Make sure you find one or two good pictures to use in the playbill. Some important questions you may want to consider when conducting your research are: 1) When was the Globe Theater built? Who constructed it? How many times did it have to be rebuilt and why? 2) How many people did it seat? What was its construction like (how many levels, who sat in which seats, etc.)? 3) How much did it cost for someone to see a play? Did it cost more for certain seats? 4) What are groundlings and how did they get their name? 5) How did people know when a play was being performed? What sign was there if a play was cancelled? 6) What were some of the rules of the theater? 7) Who were The Lord Chamberlains men? How did they get started? 8) Who acted the parts of the women in those days? 9) What was used for backgrounds, props, and lights? Links Section Title:
