•You will be journaling (recording) the foods you eat each day. After a few
days, you will compare your entries to the Food Guide Pyramid to see if
you’re eating the right food in the proper amounts.
•You will visit some websites and some bulletin board discussion sites to
gather information and ideas about healthy eating.
•You will ask classmates, friends and family members about some of their
eating habits and share your findings with the class.
•You will explore some changes you can make in your food choices in order to
eat more nutritious food (that is, to follow the Food Guide Pyramid more
closely).
•Finally, you will develop a one-day “Healthy Options” eating plan that is
customized to your likes and dislikes.
