Day of the Dead Celebration!
During the first part of November, the Latino Arts Center of Milwaukee has a
celebration for the Day of the Dead. There is food, performances, and
native people along with exibits of art and traditional altar offerings. As
a class we will take a field trip to the Latino Arts Center to view the
altars, art, and performances. Each student will need to pick out three
things that stand out to them so they can share them with the rest of the
class. This cultural scene will allow the everyone to see the holiday in
real practice.
