Brass

Instruments of the Brass Family include ? ? ? ?

The brass instruments are a very powerful family. They can be very loud, or 
play very quietly. When a composer wants to make a strong statement with 
music, he or she will usually call on the brass instruments to do the job!

These sites will help you learn about the brass family. You'll learn the 
instrument names and even be able to listen to them.

Remember your tasks:
1. Name the instruments.
2. List at least 2 similarities and 2 differences among the brass          
    instruments.
3. What is your favorite brass instrument--and why?

orchestra. The school library will have books to check out. The public 
library will have books AND recordings that you can check out. Of course, 
once you decide what your favorite brass instrument is, you can always check 
iTunes and download some great music--with parent permission, of course!
