We read the story, Daisy Comes Home, by Jan Brett. Daisy, a chicken, has a fantastic adventure as
she sails down a river in a basket. Have fun exploring the different plants and animals of Georgia's
habitats. Just like Daisy did in the story!
The state of Georgia extends from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. The State is
divided into regions. The regions are the Coastal Plain & The Barrier Islands, the Piedmont, the
Mountain Region, and the Swamps/Marshes.
Many interesting plants and animals live in the different regions. You will research plants and animals
of Georgia and the habitats that each of them live in.
