To begin your journey into the world of math you will need to work with your
Mom or Dad to complete tasks along the way. Some of the tasks will be fun
games while others will include objects from your house. As you travel
through the tasks you will begin to explore and learn some of the math skills
you will need in Kindergarten. You will learn the following math skills.
1. Sort objects by color, size or shape.
2. Repeat patterns such as jump, jump, clap.
3. Place pictures in order to sequence an event.
4. Identify and name at least 5 colors out of 10.
5. Identify and name all numbers 1-5.
6. Create and match numbers 1-5 to number sets.
7. Place all written numbers 1-5 in correct order.
8. Identify and name at least 3 two-dimensional shapes.
9. Count from 1-10 correctly in order.
