Physical Geographer

1.� You will obtain a map of the states in your specific region from the 
editor and label a) each states name b) the capital of each state c) major 
cities d) major landscape features such as major mountain ranges, rivers & 
large bodies of water.� Be prepared to share this information in 
a "jigsaw" 
group.
2.� You will complete a fact sheet that lists at least 4 different climate 
areas, including a) the name and location of the climate zone b) an 
imported 
picture of each and c) a description of clothing appropriate to that 
climate 
zone.
3.� You will write a 5 paragraph essay that discusses the political 
(geographical), physical (landscape), and climatic features and how they 
contribute to the economy of the area.
4.� You will write a narrative (fictional story) that takes place in your 
specific region.� You will need to include at least 4 accurate descriptors 
(e.g. cities, landscape or geographical features such as mountains, 
rivers, 
etc., or cultural aspects) of your region in order to score a 4 on the 
rubric.
