We are doing this project with the hope that you will not only come away with
a more in depth knowledge the WWII and its beginnings, but that you will begin
to think critically about this topic and history in general. The learning
goals, aside from the specific historical content objectives, are that you
will learn to formulate your own research questions, evaluate information
objectively (neutral and scientific) as well as subjectively (based on your
own personal opinions and world view) and that you will make connections
between what you have learned before and what you learn through this
exploration, that you will begin creating your own theories based on the
research you do and that you learn to back up those theories with well stated
arguments, or reasons why you have developed the theories you have. So, now
that you know your task and you have your procedures its time to meet with
your taskforce, go through the roles and get going on your research!
