Fall of The Berlin Wall

Task

The fall of the Berlin Wall meant so much to so many people each with their
own specific feelings, emotions, and reactions to the events happening around
them.  You will become a part of one of the roles given and have to correctly
display their plights, happiness, struggles, etc.

Choose 1:
E. Germany- You are a E. German citizen excited the wall is coming down and
decided to write a letter to a relative in W. Germany.  Explain what life is
like in E. Germany, your plots to escape before you knew the wall was coming
down, and what the protests in Alexanderplatz in East Berlin were all about. 
 (2 page minimum with visuals)

W. Germany- You are a W. German citizen who has been separated from your
family for over 28 years since the wall has been up.  Write a letter to them
explaining what life is like in W. Germany, the significance of the Graffiti
on the wall, and the hysteria going on because of the news that the crossing
points were going to be open.
(2 page minimum with visuals)

United Nations- You are the U.N. representative of W. Germany.  In a speech to
the United Nations explain the significance of the fall of the Berlin Wall,
the future intentions of W. Germany, and how this is going affect the
democratic west and for communism in Europe.
(2 page speech with facts supporting your comments)

USSR-  You are a historian for the USSR and the Berlin Wall just fell. 
Explain how this happened, events leading up to the fall of the the Berlin
Wall, what the future has in store for the USSR.
(2 pages with facts and references supporting your statements)
