Role 3: Educator

Role Description

Cyberbullying is emerging as a major concern of teachers and parents today.  
By assuming the role of an educator, you will face this issue by providing 
insight into these concerns as well as guidelines for preventing and 
responding to cyberbullying.  Conduct research on how teachers and parents 
can take a proactive stance against cyberbullying.

You may use the following websites for your research. If you find a
site that is not listed below, please get it approved before using it.

Make sure to cite your references in your notes and make a bibliography with 
exact URLs.

Some Questions to Consider:
What should you do if you suspect a child is being cyberbullied?
What are some good resources for educators to help them combat cyberthreats?
Where can educators turn for help regarding the issue of cyberbullying?
What are some legal issues educators may face dealing with cyberbullying?
What are some of the options educators have in responding to cyberbullying?
What are some measures educators can take at home and in the classroom to 
prevent cyberbullying?
