Introduction

Do you like getting money? How about making money? Who wouldn't like
receiving money? Having to work hard and make money isn't always easy
nowadays and neither was it over a hundred years ago. Throughout modern
civilization's history people have had to make money in order to survive.
But did they always get to keep it? During the Industrial Revolution and
Progressive Era in the late 19th century, the United States was undergoing
rapid changes. The rich were getting richer and the working class was hoping
to get there one day, but they would need a little help. You will travel
back to 1890s where much trouble is brewing between laborers and their
employers. You will either be a laborer and have to find a way to unionize
and convince your employers to give you a fair wage and fair working hours
and conditions OR you will be an employer who will find himself in the middle
of a strike and in need of negotiating certain terms and conditions. The
future of labor depends on you!
