The Vietnam War

Conclusion-bad

The Vietnam War is one of the most controversial in American history. It’s
a conflict that is as complex as it is divisive. Even today, nearly thirty
years after the guns were silenced the question of whether the war was
justifiable still sparks controversy and debate. While it may seem a
distant and remote event out of American history for the survivors and
veterans it is still as real as it was those many decades ago. Even today
there are those who cite parallels between the Vietnam War and the War in
Iraq. Both conflicts have rising death tolls, civilians who are being
placed in harms way, and a growing American populous increasingly critical
of U.S. involvement. As the final piece of your presentation to the United
Nations, the General Assembly would like to know where you stand on this
intriguing point of view. Therefore, they have asked that at the conclusion
of your presentation, as a team, you address the following question:

1.) In your team’s opinion is it appropriate when people compare the Vietnam
War and the Iraq War? Why?

called, “the last full measure of devotion”, a Vietnam War Memorial was
constructed in 1982 in the nations capitol. Visit the link below to
virtually visit the Vietnam War Memorial. Finally, if you have an email
address take a minute to register and leave one or two comments of respect
for people you know, or don’t know, thanking them for their service and
sacrifice.
