The War’s End (1975)

Historian #4: The Wars End (1975)

While the Vietnam War may not have had a single event that can be looked to
as the 'start' of the war this is not so true with the wars end. After
years of fighting the Vietnam War finally came to an end in mid-1975. The
UN would like to better understand the events and people associated with the
end of the Vietnam War. Specifically, they wish for you to answer the
following:

1.) What are circumstances surrounding the event that is seen as the end of
the Vietnam War; what is the Fall of Saigon?

2.) How did the actions of President Nixon contribute to an American society
ready to see the conflict in Vietnam brought to an end?

3.) How did American society react, at the time, that U.S. forces were
engaged in combat in Vietnam?

4.) What was the Paris Peace Agreement?
