Elizabeth Cady Stanton

Description

Though Elizabeth Cady Stanton died in 1902 and did not live to see the
passage of the 19th amendment, for the purposes of this project we will make-
believe that she did live until 1920 so she can partake in the mock Senate
hearing. Stanton served as president of the NWSA and was friends with Susan
B. Anthony. Stanton was active in the Women's Right Movement and worked to
get women the vote until she died.
