Conclusion

While history happened as it did, a historians best friend is the question:

"What if?"

When asking the historical "what if" question, we are forced to think not of
what happened, but what could have happened, either positive or negative, as a
result of what did happen in history. Confused? Good.

What you should have taken from this assignment would be "justification." Did
you country have a justifiable reason to go to war or was it simply to gain
land that wasn't there's to begin with, make money, fight for survival or any
other possible reasons why people go to war. We live in the United States so
we may automatically have a biased view towards the rest of the world. By
being forced to look at someone else's logistics from decades ago allows us to
see the mind set as it once was.

The most important thing about history is to learn from the past so the same
mistakes aren't made again. But are the same mistakes being made today? That's
another project for another time...
