Task

You will engage in a role-playing exercise in which you imagine yourself as
a WWII newspaper editor in one of three warring countries. You have been
given the task (by your boss) of finding the best image of propaganda for
the next morning paper - an image sure to have the desired effect of
rallying support for the war (which is waning) in your country of choice.
You will have to explain to your boss why this image will have the desired
effect.

The different roles available to you are:

A. Great Britain
B. United States
C. Germany

The end result of your efforts in studying the background of your different
roles should be a chosen image of propaganda (analyzed and found by using
the provided links) and a one paragraph explaination to your boss of how
this image on the newspaper front page will rally support for the war
effort...

"Rallying support for the war effort" will be defined, in this context, as
the ability of your image to do one or more of the following:

1) Elicit feelings of patriotism (one paragraph)
2) Villify and dehumanize the enemy (one paragraph)
3) Provide shock value and attract attention (one paragraph)

In your explanation, you will write one paragraph, explaining how your image
accomplishes one or more of these tasks.
