Evaluation

1. Rough Draft Outline – 15 points
      +A maximum of 3 points will be awarded to the appropriateness of the 
        stances required from the primary role resources and the one from 
        which you will use to criticize another role’s position.
      +A maximum of 3 points will be awarded for the organization of your 
        outline.  (It is okay to have editing marks on your outline.  I 
        don’t expect you to have everything in place the first time.)
2. Final Paper (Open letter to public) – 35 points
      +A maximum of 10 points will be awarded for the successful 
        integration of the three main points from your role.  (Remember, 
        you must indicate where you found your information.  2 points will 
        be deducted for every time you fail to do so.)
      +A maximum of 5 points will be awarded for the successful 
        integration of the viewpoint of another role and your criticism of 
        that viewpoint.  (Remember, you must indicate where you found your 
        information.  2 points will be deducted if you fail to do so.)
      +A maximum of 10 points will be awarded to the relevancy of the 
        issues discussed and how they work in convincing your public of your 
        goals at the conference.
      +A maximum of 10 points will be awarded to letters which are written
        in a clear style with correct grammar, punctuation, and according to 
        the other formatting guidelines.
