Your group's task is to create a presentation that both gives an
introduction to your ancient civilization and provides a persuasive argument
as to why the council should pick your area for the feature exhibit of the
museum. You presentation needs to include a PowerPoint and a poster, both
of which will be presented to the entire class. Each member of your team
will be assigned a specialty and it will be their job to research that part
of the civilization.
The Geographer will be responsible for researching and presenting the major
geographical features of the area where the civilization lived - including
location, terrain, climate, and any special aspects that make the region
interesting (such as a sea or maybe a volcano). The Art Collector will be
responsible for collecting the pictures and putting them on PowerPoint
slides. The Historian will be responsible for creating a brief description
of the civilization and the contributions that it made to history. The
Director will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project and
making sure that each person does their job. He or she will also be
responsible for working closely with the Art Collector to develop and order
to the slides and captions for each picture.
