Intelligences and how to use them to help you in your every day planning of instruction.Throughout
this Webqust you will explore each of his seven intelligences and be presented with a task to
complete with your group.
Howard Gardner proposed the theory of multiple intelligences. An individual may have strengths or
weaknesses in one or many areas. This is a way to explain why students learn in many different ways
and we as teachers have to adjust our teaching strategies throughout a lesson. All seven
intelligences are needed to live life well. Teachers, therefore, need to address all intelligences, not
just the first two that have been the traditional concern.
