Hopefully this Webquest has helped you become more comfortable with differentiated instruction
and more aware of the different learning styles/needs of your students.
We only addressed seven of Gardner's multiple intelligences. However, after research and reflection
by Howard Gardner and his colleagues they have looked to three particular possibilities of additional
intelligences: a naturalist intelligence, a spiritual intelligence, and an existential intelligence. Gardner
came to the conclusion that only one of these prospects is worthy of being added to his list of the
original seven: natural intelligence.
Naturalist intelligence involves the ability of human beings to recognize, categorize and draw upon
certain features of the environment.
